All is ready for the second edition of Assisi Pax Mundi

Assisi is going to be the capital of Sacred Franciscan Music for four days long. Today (15 of October) Assisi Pax Mundi starts. Till the 18 of October the umbrian city will houses the second edition of this event that wants to inspire the dialog through the music. Eleven choirs, more than 300 attendees, that will perform into seven franciscan locations that will become stages, places for conferences and studies.

The festival is going to open up today at 5pm in the Sala della Conciliazione in the Palazzo Comunale with the praises of members of franciscan families and of city authorities. After the official opening there will be a introductive lesson titled “The Franciscan music in the history of the music” and led by master Alberto Batisti. Everybody can participate.

First concerts are going to start this evening at 9pm in the Lower Basilica of Saint Francesco in Assisi. The Schola Gregoriana Assisiensis and the Commedia Harmonica will exhibit for you.
