The Choral San Francesco was born with the idea to bring together a group of friends that since adolescence animated the Sunday liturgy in the parish church and who have a passion by a true love for singing and being together in fraternity. It was founded in 2008 and has taken part in numerous exhibitions in Italy earning many accolades.

The peculiarity of the choral is the fact that many members of the group are married couples and in June 2009 he had the opportunity to participate in the Pilgrimage of the families in Assisi, organized by the Diocese of Macerata, animating liturgies in the Cathedral of St. Ruffino and the Upper Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi.

He has participated in various choral festivals and concerts; has inspired several sacred liturgical celebrations in prestigious places in Italy such as Loreto, Assisi, the Vatican; has given numerous concerts of sacred music and songs in places of the Region Marche, by participating in two editions of “CoriMarche” organized by Choirs Regional Association “ARCOM”, exhibiting pieces composed and arranged by various authors. Has a repertoire of sacred songs along with traditional Christmas songs arranged in gospel. He took part in “Concerts Hinterland” at the 52 th and 53 th edition of the International Festival of Sacred Music “Virgo Lauretana”, year 2012 and 2013.

The Choral is directed from inception by the soprano M° Alessandra Gattari, who takes care of the technical and musical.

Five years ago the birth of the choir “Piccoli Cantori di San Francesco”, children from 6 to 12 years from the Orientation Course in Choral Music, also conducted by M° Alessandra Gattari.

The “PICCOLI CANTORI” have sung in various concerts with the Choral San Francesco and they took part in 10th Festival of Singing White Voices “Canzoni e colori “(Songs and colors) organized by Radio Nuova Macerata, year 2014.
