The second day of Assisi Pax Mundi starts with a study conference. “Il Cantico delle Creature in the music of the XX century”: this is the title of the lesson that will be led by Professor Paola Maurizi at 9:30 am in the P. Norsa Room in the Sacred Monastery.
A great news of this edition is the Gospel choir that will perform at 4:30 pm: this is the Charlie’s Gospel Angels directed by Charlie Cannon (Alabama), that wants let us understand how the franciscan message is modern and cross at the same time. During the concert will be performed the world premiere of the Canticle of the Creatures in version Gospel.
Our day will goes on in Saint Rufino Cathedral at 5:30pm with the performance of the Pianura Veronese Choir and of the Papal Basilica of Saint Francesco’s Chapel Choir. The San Francesco Choir from Montelupone and the Liturgical “Laudate and benedicite Choir” from Sassari are going to sing at 9 pm in the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli.
